Juvenile Defense

Whenever a child is the target of a juvenile delinquency (JD) proceeding initiated by the Prosecuting Attorney or a family is the target of a child in need of services (CHINS) proceeding initiated by the Department of Child Services (DCS), the government is threatening serious intervention in the family at issue. Vigilant defense of allegations in these proceedings is necessary to ensure that a family is torn asunder by the slow, draconian bureaucracy inherent in these proceedings. Mr. Murphy has been representing children and their parents in these proceedings since his admission to the bar and is available to assist in defending allegations against your child or family.
