Expungement

In recent years, Indiana’s Second Chance Act has drastically expanded the ability to expunge a prior arrest, criminal charge or conviction. A successful expungement prevents employers from discriminating against prospective employees for their expunged arrest, charge or conviction. In addition, the State Police’s Central Repository is ordered to eliminate that information from their records. Mr. Murphy is available to consult with you and determine whether your prior arrest, charge or conviction may be expunged under the Second Chance Act and to file a petition requesting the same.
